TOWN INVESTMENT PLAN
The Town Investment Plan represents the Vision for King’s Lynn and was developed by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk and the King’s Lynn Town Board.
It was developed following extensive consultation and engagement through Vision King’s Lynn with local residents, businesses and a range of organisations, including those from the charity and voluntary sectors.
The Town Investment Plan sets out the potential schemes and projects that will benefit the town, strengthen the local economy, and help secure the town’s future as a place of choice to live, work and visit.
Having an agreed investment plan for the town is vital to securing funding from government Levelling Up programmes.
The plan, which is being and will continue to be used to secure levelling up funding from a variety of government programmes, centres around three key themes:
- Innovative, growing businesses and a skilled work force
- Sustainably connected town
- Historic riverfront and repurposed town centre
