St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub business case submitted

The vision for the St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub moved a step forward with the submission of the business case to government.

The project is a pivotal part of the £25m Town Fund programme, which will transform the town centre with a number of innovative schemes aimed at growing business, increasing skills and regenerating historical features.

Support for the new vision for St George’s Guildhall is growing, with stars from stage and screen, as well as Shakespearean scholars and cultural groups showing their support for the project.

The St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub project has also passed another milestone with the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Cabinet nominating the project as a Town Deal priority.

‘A community space in the heart of the town’: Residents help to shape new hub for King’s Lynn

Plans for a new community hub in King’s Lynn took a step forward as the results of a recent consultation were released today.

The consultation took place after Norfolk County Council, working with the Town Deal Board and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, announced plans for a new hub that will have community, library services, learning and skills at its core.
