Multi-award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins have today been announced as the architect-led multi-discipline team for the St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub project as part of the King’s Lynn Town Deal programme.

King’s Lynn based businesses employing 18-30 year-old members of staff, are being urged to drop into a free session at The Place in King’s Lynn to find out how Boost can help them.

An exciting opportunity for artists to develop two pieces of artwork for the Rail to River Public Realm scheme, part of the Government-funded King’s Lynn Town Deal, has been launched today with a call to submit proposals by the end of January.

The final three Town Deal business cases have been approved by Government securing the remaining £15,811,819 of funding for the Multi-User Community Hub, Riverfront Regeneration and Active and Clean Connectivity projects.

The King’s Lynn Town Deal Board has confirmed that it is still full steam ahead for the St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub project, despite disappointing news from the National Lottery Heritage Fund that a bid for £575k of development funding has been unsuccessful.

The vision for the St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub moved a step forward with the submission of the business case to government.

The project is a pivotal part of the £25m Town Fund programme, which will transform the town centre with a number of innovative schemes aimed at growing business, increasing skills and regenerating historical features.
